Has anyone thought of a Vegas wedding?

    We did at first just to avoid wedding chaos but our families both freaked because they all want to be there.  One of my sister's did it and planned a big bash on their one year anniversary.

    Thought about it... But my sister did it a few years back. I would still want the swanky wedding, it would just be less people and less planning... And since we both have such big families, niether of which has had a wedding in the family in a long time, there would be a lot of bummed people if we did it in Vegas. But there are some days, when the planning is just too much, that I wish we would have just eloped!

    Ooh could anyone who's done this/doing this give me an idea of what you did for ceremony & reception? My FI and I are considering Vegas a little bit right now. Not exactly what I've always pictured but that could be good.
