Not sure where to get married

My boyfriend and I have been discussing where to get married. We originally planned to get married in St. Thomas aboard a cruise ship but didn't realize you have to choose a wedding package in addition to the 7 day cruise we are planning. We are trying to be somewhat frugal since we are trying to plan a wedding/honeymoon ourselves, he has to purchase a ring, and we have to move in together within the next few months. Any suggestions on where to get married? A beach wedding would be ideal but we have no clue on how to do a small intimate wedding without family or friends (just us). Btw, we will be driving to FL. in May before sailing to the Caribbeans.

    I'm sure you could find a few wedding coordinators in Florida that could help you plan something for just the two of you. That was originally what I was planning on doing except in Hawaii but ended up inviting family. I know in Hawaii I found a lot of places that did elopement style things like what it sounds you are looking for and most were very affordable! I am guessing you are going to be in Fort Lauderdale? You could even probably get married early in the morning before the cruise ship boards and then just go out for a fancy dinner once you are on the ship :) When I was just planning on doing the wedding just me and my (now) husband, we were just going to have the officiant to marry us, and a photographer because the photos are really important to me, and a couple of cupcakes to celebrate afterwards haha usually companies that do small weddings like that can work with whatever you want to have included in your wedding. I just ended up adding more and more to my package because I ended up inviting guests haha but they kept working with what I needed and what I wanted.  Oh and that way they would know the best places to get married, the nicest beaches and the quietest places and times as well
