My FI and I have entered a contest to win $1,000 worth of flowers for our wedding!

The deadline for the contest has changed to May 17th at 11:59pm (in 5 days).

    OK, here is the 411.

    I don't know if you all got an email saying that votes on the wall no longer count and you have to make those people re-vote on their "discussion tab"...

    Well, a few of my friends did but they don't warn you that if you post on a discussion tab, you get an email EVERY TIME there is a post er... posted. And you can't go back and delete it to stop them.

    So I emailed her, coincidentally, her name is Jennifer too... and I got a snide email back that while it is inconvenient to us, her designers felt it was too much work to have to count votes on their wall, and that it should be used for better things and that if my guests don't vote on the discussion tab, my votes wouldn't be counted. 

    I was really not impressed and thought about writing back a nasty note, but I just don't have it in me. So I gracefully stepped out of the running.

    I'm sure she was just having a bad day, but I mean really, how hard is it to say, "I'm sorry, we didn't know that it would inconvenience people who we are advertising to by recieving tons of random name & name & date emails. We will try to find a better solution next contest."

    That would have placated me and I would have considered staying in and not telling ya'll how unhappy I am with her. I sent an email to all my friends who had been awesome enough to vote for me and I apologized to them and told them to unlike her page so hopefully the discussion tab emails would stop.

    But I wish you all the best of luck in the contest. I'm going to wait a bit for another one to try.
