We are between the Hyatt Cambridge and the Westin Copley. Actually similar price, but only difference is Westin our guest have to pay $25/per car parking. Thats standard in any Boston venue though. I love the Hyatt views of the Boston skyline, but the hotel itself is just blah. The decor other than the fantastic windows and view is just kind of outdated/eccentric. I feel like it reminds of a very cheap hotel I stayed at in TX recently on a lay over. My fiancé likes it and so does his family, my side is the total opposite. The Westin has a plain room (so I can do more to it) and a view of copley square. They are also giving us a tasting before we book. They both do outside catering (not from a the hotel restaurant) so I was cautious about it. For out of town guest being in back bay is much nicer, because I feel the Hyatt is kind of no where walkable. Any thoughts on either of these to places? Anyone been to weddings here? Thanks for your help
