Everyone frozen? 

We had a rude, poopy 5 AM wake up call. Ever since her stomach bug, DD has had massive morning poops, and they are looser still, so 5 am she was soaked and pissssssssssed. Fun. But she fed and went back to sleep until just before 8 at least.

She is off to day care, I am digesting breakfast, then I need to clean some more. I will have a 1 year old in a week and her party in 1.5 weeks, so the deep clean needs to happen this week.

    I'm here.  I finally got off the phones because they opened our office at noon.  We are buried in e-mails and other work.  I forsee a ton of OT in my future.  

    DH did not go to work today.  I'm glad because the road reports this morning were scary as hell.  He may have to go in tonight, but he's thinking about staying at my sister's house, which is 10 min from work for him vs. 45 min (in normal weather) that we are from his plant. 

    DefConn went to the sitter today. The kiddo's friend is about to come over.  I'm glad one of the kids is gone because they were getting my last nerve by getting on each other's nerves.  They both know exactly how to push one another's buttons, at 3 and 13.  Lord help me.

    Morning. We are having a great day! DD slept 6 hours again last night, then a four hour stint this morning. After she woke, I was actually able to put her down not fully asleep (drowsy) and she cried for about a minute and then passed out. This is huge- the longest she'd sleep was 3 hours and she had to be in a deep sleep before I set her down. I'm thinking it's because we have the reflux under control and her diaper rash is almost all cleared up. Of course, this is my last week home and now I'm actually getting emotional over starting back.

    Today we are going to hit up Costco. Not sure what else- I'm trying to enjoy DD (she actually smiles and doesn't give me 24/7 bitch face!).

    I'm at work and dragging ass. I'm on phone calls but we haven't had like any today, praise be jeebus. I've been spending my time looking at the weather where we'll be on honeymoon and being stunned by the balmy 34 degrees that is going on up in the town where we're going above the motherfucking Arctic Circle.

    Day 2 of not leaving the house.  It was -8 real temp today.  I also have a little PTSD with wind chill my heat transfer, mass transfer, and senior project professor fixed the wind chill calculations.  My mom loaded us with leftovers Sunday so that helps.  Poor DH was on a 5th story roof dealing with water this morning.

    We have final kitchen plans so now we need to pick out cabinets, paint, lights, bar stools, etc.

    Seriously @varunatt, the shit just keeps coming!

    And I swear DH and I were just talking about her birthday being months away and starting to think about plans. Now I am a week away. The only thing I haven't though much about yet is family dinner the night of her birthday, but get birthday party menu is planned. Just need to do it.

    Annnnddd...no school tomorrow.  At least my sitter is open.  And it may be warm enough to send the kiddo out for a little bit.  

    Between the drifts and plowing, some of the snow is stacked up 5ft high around here.

    I spent the better part of my morning in a meeting, and then another meeting.  Only to have someone say "No, you don't get your own contract, you're a sub".  Okay, fine...but whatever holes you leave in your MSA, fine.

    i can't believe she is already 1 year old. time flies when you are swamped with work.

    i dreaded going out into the cold today, but now i am in for the day and wearing 2 pairs of pants because of how cold it is. maybe i'll bake a cake to actually warm this place up a little.
