Invitations by David's Bridal?

Has anyone used them for save the dates? What do you think about the really cheap ones- http://www.invitationsbydavidsbridal.com/Wedding-Invitations/Save-the-Dates/2947-DB4NGOSD-Grand-Ovation--Black--Save-the-Date.pro

I don't want to spend a lot on save the dates, but can't help feeling these seem pretty boring. Any other suggestions for under $50? (For 100 Save the dates)

  • Vistaprint. I uploaded a photo, slapped a design they had over it, and printed 100 for $25 with free shipping (found a code online). They actually have some nice designs!

  • Vistaprint is the way to go! You could do postcard ones or get plain white envelopes for free. Mine were so great, I also used Vistaprint for out invites!

  • I third Vistaprint- I am thrilled with how our save-the-dates came out.  For 100 save-the-dates, I paid under $25 including upgrading the card stock to a thicker one and adding envelopes (we decided to pay the extra postage and not mail them as postcards).

I designed ours using Photoshop and uploaded it but as pp stated they do have great ready-made designs including some where you include your own photos.   Right now they have 100 postcards for $11 (shipping adds a few more dollars unless you order $25 worth of merchandise, then shipping is free).

  • Thanks guys, where do you find these offers? I am looking at the website and it looks like the pricing is 10 cards for $8. I like the postcards idea

It's possible you're looking at the "invites and announcements" section, those are more expensive. I made standard postcard sized save-the-dates and ordered envelopes with them (they were around $4 to add 100 envelopes that fit the postcards) instead of paying the higher price for something from the "invite and announcement" section.

    For postcards:
    http://www.vistaprint.com/postcards.aspx?GP=1/8/2014+9:43:09+AM&GPS=3070539063&GNF=1&couponAutoload=1

Click the link, select standard size (5.47"x 4.21"), then click "get started" where it says "browse our designs," and then select a design from there. Once I approved the design, it had me sign in to my account, then pricing shows as $7.49 for 50 postcards, or $11.24 for 100.  It looks as though it automatically loaded a coupon code (VPTOP in case it doesn't auto-load for you).

  • Thanks for the instructions, CTYankeeBride.  I kept wondering why everyone called them affordable

  • Agree with LinsInLove. Looks like I can do save the date postcards for under 25, which is great! I am not going to upgrade the stock because I think I'll use envelopes, but I have my fingers crossed
