Hey ladies,
I hope you all have wonderful plans for your weekend.
I FINALLY was able to have Christmas with my family last night, and it was a lot of fun. Dinner was good (I love spaghetti and meatballs), my stepdad was soooooo excited about his jersey (he put it on right away), and D (my youngest sister) squealed when she saw her video games. I gave L (My oldest sister) her gift last week - her exact words? Holy Sh!T!!!

And I think my mom likes her gift - i'm just hoping it's one she doesn't declutter.
We then played Settlers of Catan - 3 games....and surprisingly - I won all 3!!!! I've only won once out of the bajillion times we've played, I couldn't believe it!! I am just hoping all the Yuengling(Sp??) we were drinking (thanks dad's coworker who brought it back from pittsburgh!! Since apparently you can't buy it in MI) didn't have anything to do with it lol!
Today is going to be ...interesting to say the least. BF's mom's side of the family is coming in from all over to do Christmas, and first they are going to the nursing home to see his mom's mom (who is evil incarnate...pretty sure she's the devil). I get out of going because I notarized something for them - and she already thinks everyone is out to get her - if she realized I'm dating BF - yeaaah bad news bears. So I am going to try and reassemble my apartment from last night, since i was lazy and spent time with my family instead of dishes and such. Then it's over to BF's Mom's house for other family related stuff. *sigh* I just want peace and quiet for one weekend...is that too much to ask??
What do you ladies have planned??
Re: Weekend
[QUOTE]Aw, yay! I'm still in bed, slightly hungover. I drank a bottle of Malbec by myself last night. I had the first three quarters in a glass like a civilized person. I drank the rest out of the bottle. And now I have a headache. Bahhhh I need to hem my black pants and go to Bed Bath and Beyond today. I start my new job at 245 as a server, and I need a wine key. Tomorrow, who knows? I'm going to jump on a limb and say I'll be drinking again tonight. It's been a horrible week and I really just want to go home. I'm starting to hate FL. I went for a run on the beach last night, and I parked my car, and since I took off my glasses, I couldn't find it again. I called the police thinking someone had stolen it. Lovely. And then when I got home at like 830, I got a lecture from the people I'm renting from for not calling. Seriously guys? I'm 22 years old. Back the eff off and let me alone. I am NOT your child. Good things that happened last night? <strong>I called BF</strong> to talk and that's when I lost my car, and so was on the phone with him while I was bawling in the parking lot. He kept talking about coming down, and I kept tellling him not to. Well, after we found my car (right where I left it), I let him know and he said he was heading out the door to put oil in his car to come down anyways. Which made me feel a little better about life.

</div><div>I've totally not been keeping up with everyone because of school. Since when do you have an official BF? Is this the guy you went on the date with awhile back? Sorry for being a bad knottie!

<div>1) Ick - I'm sorry :( I HATE Hangovers and am usually even more of a bitch than normal lol</div><div>2) :( I'm sorry. BF and I are feeling that way about MI right now. I got home from work yesterday and he was (and still is) in such a funk. He said that the only thing going right for him in his life is me. He now wants to move states and get away from his family, and all the BS. So I don't know wtf is going on anymore. **hugs** If I could come back to FL and make it better for you, I would!</div><div>3) Siriously?? Wtf. It's not like 8:30 is even that late?!!!</div><div>4) That is effing sweet. I'm glad you found a sweetheart that treats you well...otherwise I'd be making a long road trip to kick someone's ass :) </div>
[QUOTE]My dad absolutely loves Yuengling. The last time he went to Pennsylvania he brought back like 3 cases of it. As for my weekend, I am working both days =( Nothing exciting. Next weekend though is what I'm looking forward to. We're going to the Auto Show and meeting with our possible officiant and then FI has a meeting with an architecture firm. It's not necessarily an interview for a job, but we'll see.

<div>I'm not a huge beer person, but that stuff is pretty good! </div><div>
</div><div>Ick for working both days :( I love auto shows! :) I'm such a nerd. My grandfather and I would always go to them and we still do when we get the chance. It's much harder now since he lives in TN and I live in MI, but still :)</div><div>
</div><div>Have fun!</div>

</div><div>It is. He and I were talking starting about Thanksgiving, and decided we wanted to do this Dec. 8, but our first date wasn't until the 15th. Which he decided was not allowed to be considered our anniversary because my birthday is the 14th. :) There's an update here (<a href="http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/special-topic-wedding-boards_not-engaged-yet_peek-23">click</a>)</div><div>

</div><div>Irish, we for real need to have Skype time. I can't even begin to explain things here. And I kind of don't want to. But I do want to talk to you about them.</div><div>And as far as 830 goes, they were like paranoid. When I walked in, they were like "OMG YOU'RE OKAY." Seriously? What did you think? I'm 22 and used to doing what I want, when I want, without having to tell anyone. And I flat out told them that. They were like "You need to call when you're not coming straight home." I'm 22. Not your child. And when I was 16, my parents dropped me off at a hotel to get on a plane to Germany, and said "see you next year!" To which they responded "It's a scary place outside." OMG are you kidding me? Bring. It. I can handle myself.</div><div>

<div>Yes,yes, yes!! I have family shiit to do today and part of tomorrow, but if you text me or FB me when you have time... I will make it happen. <3</div><div>
</div><div>Really?? Wth... I understand that people are fvcked in the head, but it's not like you haven't been on your own before. My grandparents are the same way. Anytime i go visit...they need to know my whereabouts at ALL times. Drives me flipping nuts</div><div>
</div><div>UUUUUGGGGGHHHH BF is still in bed... and I am not going to be responsible if he misses his family stuff. NOT MY PROBLEM!</div>
[QUOTE]I'm doing research on shooting ranges for the Zombie Research Society. Other than that, nothing. <strong>When you're unemployed and sad, the days all kind of just run together :/ To me, the only difference between "weekend" and "weekday" is that "The Price is Right" isn't on.</strong>

BF says the same thing.<div>
</div><div>Did the company you interviewed with give you a time frame on hearing back??</div>
Irish- I love your never ending Christmases!!
bside- what's the zombie research society?
I'm currently watching The Bachelor online- http://abc.go.com/watch/the-bachelor/SH559030/VD55160596/week-1
And later I'm meeting a girl off the Plus Sized board to go to lunch! I hope it goes well!
Other then that- I don't have many plans. Andrew is off on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and will be home for dinner on Wednesday. He had the same schedule last week and although it hurts his paycheck- I've been cherishing the time with him. I've been missing him!

<div>I am soooooooo over them at this point. I love BF's family and my family, but good grief, Charlie Brown!! *sigh* </div><div>
</div><div>:) Sounds like you have a fun day ahead</div>
Earlier this week, we discussed possibly going to see Sherlock Holmes tonight, but I think it'll depend on when he gets home.
Tomorrow is all about more cleaning and taking the dogs to the park for a long walk!
Oh, and I'm going to cook this weekend for the week because I'm trying to be better about cooking real things instead of throwing things together when I get home at the end of the day!
I have a baby shower this afternoon. Normally I'd be looking forward to it but I'm sick and have been sick for 4 days and all I want to do is sip apple cider and lay on the couch with a bottle of aspirin and a box of kleenex within reach. A girl can dream, right?
Irish- *hugs* I am glad that things went well with your family but I am so sorry that BF's family is being poopie.
Peeks- They totally sound like my parent, until I was 20 I had an 11 o'clock crew few. Whatever. I hope they don't cause you problems but I am so glad your BF was a sweetie
My texts are having a hard time getting out but I do want to skype tonight!
My weekend has been going ok. Last night was Christmas eve and today was Christmas. That means lots of (long) church services. But it was fun, I took a shot of grey goose to make me happy and it worked
Now we are sitting in bed, FI is playing video games and I am messing around on line, wishing I had cell service
Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to (anyone remember crazy girl? You know the one who bought her dress and had the whole wedding plan before he proposed? Ya her.) She is getting married tomorrow so we are going to that. Not much else besides that.
Married! May 27th, 2012
