  At least you're good for something?

  My soul purpose seems to be to feed people.  If it weren't for my mom I'd be failing this week.  She sent us home with brats, mac and cheese, pasta salad, lunchmeat, chocolates, and even a gallon of milk.

  My brain is mush and I'm on day 4 of a 12 day work stint.  They keep offering overtime and monetary spiffs on top of the OT you work.  Makes it hard to turn down.  Luckily, I'm only working a couple hours on what's supposed to be my 'days off' (Sun and Wed).

  I'm amazed at what people think they can get away with.  Or at least think won't kill them.

  
  

  We have found some shady things that the previous homeowners did and we've fixed them (like the 6ft+ hole in the wall of the basement that they didn't bother to fix and covered with paneling.  Surprise!  There was also no insulation on the outside wall of that entire room.) but it's always scary to start a new home project wondering what you'll find and how much it will cost to fix before we can even start what we want to do.
