  You can do it yourself! Or have a friend/your FI do it. I'm sure you could just google search or look for a how-to video on youtube to get what you need. It's super easy and all you need is a measuring tape (which you could get at a sewing store or probably even walmart)

  I went to a tailor and just asked them to measure me (it was for a BM dress) and they did it for free. It takes about 10 seconds.

  This is what I would do. You can basically go anywhere and get measured for free, including David's bridal.
