Adult Drinks (HELP)

So my fiance is okay with most alcoholic beverages, but I only like sweetened drinks (such as mudslides). What  drinks besides champane and wine would be appropiate for a wedding? xoxo

    Beer and margaritas! And daiquiris.

Any drink is appropriate!  Although I might stay away from serving Sex on the Beach or Red Headed Sluts or something else suggestive sounding :)

I totally agree! And if you do serve sex on the beach, you could always rebrand it with a new name.

Other than mudslides, what else do you like to drink? Serve that. We did 3 signature drinks - passion fruit mojitos, lychee bellinis and pear-ginger saketinis. They were total hits; way more then the beer and wine.

We are doing jungle juice as our cocktail and rebranding it as punch. (cutesy name tbd)
Its something sweet, inexpensive to make and really packs a punch (no pun intended)

Go to a bar or order different ones when you are out to dinner. Also, lots of people at weddings I have been to go for the simple drinks-rum and coke, vodka cranberry, etc. Are you limiting the hard stuff to just a few signature drinks?

Thanks. I'm not sure how many we want to serve. It depends on how many hard drinks we like. We'll a champane mix, a rum mix, and then idk. We have quite a few younger guests, and we don't want to get them tipsy ;)

You shouldn't be trying any of these drinks because you are only 17. I'll bet your "quite a few younger guests" are your high school bff's.

This.  The law doesn't change because it's your wedding day.  If you're underage, you're underage.

She's unable to go to the bar as she is not 21 yet.
You need to make sure that your venue will allow this. I know ours is open to any alcohol we want to bring into the venue but we had to buy a liquor license from the local shop and it had to be either the bride or groom. This would be difficult to do for you if it's illegal for you to even go to the store....

How old is your FI?  If you are both under 21, don't count on having drinks are your wedding for yourselves.  Married DOES NOT EQUAL legal to drink.

You can't drink ANYWHERE. At a bar, your house, your reception location, anywhere. <div>The law doesn't change just because the venue does.</div><div>Drinking at a bar when you are underage is no different than drinking anywhere else.</div>
