Son's math teacher called. They want to move him to the advanced math class. She said he's just not being challenged anymore by his grade-level Math 7 and they want to move him now because she anticipates him taking algebra next year in 8th grade, instead of Math 8. If she doesn't get him moved to the advanced math class now, they won't place him in the algebra class when school starts in the fall.
He has always been good at and liked Math. We think this will be good for him.
