Wedding Invitations & Paper

Hooray we got our invitations!

We ordered from Weddingpaperdiva's and they came in the mail today! They're so nice.
The rsvp cards perfectly match, everything looks great! Our enclosure cards totally do not match at all because I wasn't paying attention when I made them on vistaprint and picked a completely different style by accident. For some reason I was so obsessed with this one style that I somehow didn't register that they don't really go with what our invites look like.
But that said, they still look nice and they fit into the envelope with the RSVP card in their envelopes as well. So we're happy that it all fits together and the printing turned out nice.

Now I just have to figure out how much postage to put on them and the RSVP envelopes. Does anyone have tips for this when mailing square invitations? I tried looking on the USPS website but I didn't have any luck.

    Congrats on getting your invitations!

I would say to completely assemble one and take it to the post office and ask them how much it would be.
  • I second completely assemble and take it to the post office to be weighed. I did this with mine when I was done making a rough draft of it. RSVP envelopes however take the regular forever stamps. Stamp pricing will be going up Jan. 26th so unless everything is ranged in the .46 (which it might) you can't buy the .69 stamps until the price increase. You can however stock up on forever stamps for RSVP envelopes and thank you cards. The forever stamps are currently valued at .46 and will be going up to .49

  • Oh okay, I was going to get those forever stamps for the RSVPs, so that's good to hear. I weighed the completely assembled invite on a postal machine we have at work, so I got the weight, but the problem is that the envelopes are square, so it'll probably take some more.
That's so good to know about the stamps though, thank you for telling me! We'll buy those ASAP so we can at least save some money on that.
    I really appreciate the help!
  • Take it to one post office and find out how much.  Then, take it to another just to make sure!  I know someone who was told the wrong price and almost mailed out 100 invitations with not enough postage.  We even mailed one to ourselves before we sent them all out.
