Feeling Accomplished!

I went to visit a sick elderly family member today and have been helping them get their house all in order again. I am so proud of myself! Lol

I have done 24loads of laundry, 2 loads of dishes, vacuumed the whole house, and even ran the carpet cleaner.

Its truly incredible how much laundry accumulated. I think I will be up half the night just running the dryer! But at least they will have a good head start on having a presentable ace once they get back on their feet.

I think it is now time for a well deserved bottle of vino and chocolate!

  • 24 loads of laundry?
  • Maybe my machines are slow, but 24 loads would take me over 24 hours to do.

Thank God for laundromats! I had up to 15 washers going at once! I was a slight washer hog... But otherwise I'd never be done!
  • I'm with pumpkins. That many loads would take me the better part of a day.

How long has this person been laid up that they had accumulated that much laundry?!

  • @His Girl They have only been sick for a week and a half, so I'm sure there is a good amount that wasn't done before they weren't feeling well. But we did do all the bedding and blankets so...
  • Well that sounds like a terrible lot of work.  It was very kind of you to help in that way.  I am sure they appreciate it.

  • Nice job! And I'm with the others- damn that's a lot of laundry! I always laugh when other couples say they do 2-3 loads a week....FI and I do laundry when the basket is full.....which is always 2-3 weeks!! Guess it helps that wears a uniform at work (that's company washed) and I wear dress clothes so I don't wash the pants and blazers often just the underneath tank top.

OMG!!! LMAO My FI doesn't have a hoarder problem he just throws cleans clothes on the floor. Dirty clothes get thrown on the floor BY the hamper, but clean clothes can be left anywhere >.> I'm trying to get him to knock it off. It's a slow process.

Your image made me smile =) thanks for the laughs.
