Stamps!

So I just got in my invites and went running around to post offices looking for wedding stamps, but they had NONE!

I called the 1-800 number and they told me to order online, which takes 5 business days or order on the phone. Needless to say, we just used the regular forever stamps from the automated machine, which is definitely not the end of the world, but...

Just wanted to give a heads up to other summer brides- order stamps online early!

Aww, that's unfortunate! I guess I got lucky. When I went to send them out, the agent asked if it was for a wedding and then went searching for the wedding stamps. It took him quite some time but it was really nice of him! Yes, not a big deal as it's the beautiful invites that everyone will look at ;)

Maybe outside of Manhattan they have more options, actually the Post Office at Lex and 54th (huge one) had no .44 cent stamps at all and said they had been waiting for delivery for 3 weeks!

We needed extra postage, so there were other stamps besides the wedding cake.  Frankly, no one really looks at the envelope so I wouldn't worry.

I got mine from zazzle.com and they are beautiful, they have hundreds to choose from and they cam in 2 days. Same price and I din't pay shipping. I know they are just stamps, but I love them!

I do not mean this in a mean way at all but..they are stamps. Dont stress out. When i get a wedding invite, i dont even LOOK at the envelope and it gets thrown RIGHT in the garbage. You will have other things to stress about, like all the people who take their times to RSVP Tongue out
