Garden Ceremony & Tented Reception

First I was going for a rustic barn venue. I have pretty much exhausted my search for an affordable barn anywhere near me that I like. So now I'm thinking I will look for somewhere I can have an outdoor ceremony and tented reception in the same place. I really want to avoid the typical country clubs and function halls.

We have an approximate guest list of 180 and I'd rather not travel farther than an hour from Boston. Also trying to keep the whole wedding under $20,000. I don't even want to spend that much but it may be inevitable.

So before I start from scratch I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.Oh and it will be an afternoon/evening reception so if anyone knows of somewhere that allows events until 11-12 pm that would be great!

I think it was you on a previous post that I told about mine at Wachusett Mountain but I just remembered another place I could tell you. My friend is getting married this May at Allen Hill Tree Farm in Brooklyn, CT. It's a Christmas tree farm with a legit barn!! It's about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Boston. She's renting it for $1,000 and bringing in her own catering. The owner of the barn doesn't do anything (such as food, decorating, coordinating) he literally just rents you the barn.
