Where you insanely busy the 2 days before your wedding or not?

So one of my very best friends is flying in for my wedding. I paid for her flight and she's staying at my house because she's going to be my photographer. I haven't seen her in 3 years because she's got 3 toddlers (they are staying home with dad) so I'd love quality time with her other than just "come take my pictures and leave". She's never been to my city so I kind of plan on showing her around and giving her the tourist experience. But I can only do this the 2 days leading up to the wedding because then after I leave for the honeymoon. Do you think this is do-able or that I'll have too much on my plate with last minute wedding details? I'm a very low stress, go with the flow bride and my venue is handling all the food and rentals so I don't have to worry about any of that being set up. So I'm not sure what else to expect during those last days? (not having a rehearsal or dinner)

    I think you should be ok. You would be surprised at the random stuff that "comes up" the day before but really 2 days before I had nothing major to do and spent it relaxing with my MOH.

    I think you'll be fine. Just have your Fi be the go-to guy for a couple of days if any last minute problems come up.

    We got married on a Saturday.  I worked on the whole day on Thursday, as did my husband.  Outside of him going to pick up his mother and sister from the airport after work, there really wasn't much wedding stuff to do that day.  On the day before, we had to transport some decor items to the venue and I had a nail appointment, but I could easily have taken a good friend with me for those things.  

    My phone rang during the day, but I'm sure your friend would understand that you'd need to take any calls from wedding vendors while you're spending that time with her.
