Where are inexpensive wedding shoes????

I'm on a really tight budget and my two daughters are my bridesmaids so I have to buy their dresses and shoes, etc.  Where can I find inexpensive (cheap) shoes?  For all of us actually

Re: Where are inexpensive wedding shoes????

  • I bought my wedding shoes online at 6pm.com but I also looked into DSW, Famous Footwear, Zappos, Marty's, TJMaxx, and Marshalls. My wedding shoes ended up being $24.99 with free shipping.

  • Honestly you can find cheaper shoes in a lot of places if you look hard!  Besides the ones already listed, check Payless too (they often do BOGO half off), and even stores like JCPenney.  I found my shoes at Von Maur, which is a generally high price point store, but they were on clearance from $79 down to $19!

  • I got mine at DSW, they were on the clearance rack for $35 (Jessica Simpson brand usually $80) and I had a rwards coupon from them so it ended up being $25!

  • payless has nice options, even more options available online. But don't limit your searches to bridal shoes, make sure to check out special occasion and evening shoe options when looking online. For your daughters, try to get them a color that will go with their dress but might be able to wear again, like black, white, nude or metallic. This way if they need dress up shoes for something else they will be also.

look for stores that might still have some end of season spring shoes in stock, on clearance or some 'holiday' sparkly shoes if that works. Silver is always big for christmas/new years and could very well double as a wedding shoe.

Much like anything, stay clear of things marked 'wedding' related and you'll save a bundle!

  • I bought mine at Shoebuy.com. They have at least 80 shoes <$35.

  • thanks.  great ideas across the board!
  • I love zappos, such a good selection.  Someone told me payless has nice options, but I didn't look since i had already bought mine on zappos.
  • 6pm.com is Zappos outlet site. I bought my ceremony shoes for $25 and they are Nine West.

I found mine on amazon... it was the last pair they had of this shoe and it was 90% off (I paid $15).. yay!
  • I might reuse one I already have from Payless. I'll have to see if it goes with the dress pretty much, but I'm not too worried about it since my dress is floor length. Not a lot of people will see it!
  • I found mine at a dance store. I bought ballroom dance shoes. They are comfortable, cute, and don't hurt to walk in. (I wore them around the house one day to make sure they don't rub or hurt.) They were not expensive either.
