Leaving for San Fran tomorrow AM!

It's for work (trade show) but FI is coming with me. The weather will be in the upper 60s (a nice break from NY) and I'm just silly excited to get away for a few days.

Also, I went to check us in for our flight. I'm so glad I did (I usually forget). They had us sitting in the very last row against the bathrooms. So I just paid to upgrade our seats to the first row after first class. They were the only other seats available. Woo hoo!

  • You may already know this, but the bulkhead row means that during take-off and landing that ALL of your stuff must be in the overhead bin or in the pocket on the wall in front of you.  You can't have your purse at your feet or a laptop bag in your lap. Usually anything bigger than a book they want you to stow for take-off and landing.

But the legroom is usually worth it!!!!

  •    I love SF. It's only 1 1/2 hours away for me and I never tire of going.

Good to know! FI will most definitely appreciate the legroom as he's pretty tall.

I figured it would be nice to get a heads up so you an pack/plan appropriately.  So many people aren't aware of this and get frustrated because there is no seat in front of you that you can put your purse under like in the other seats.

It is a minor inconvenience, but if you plan ahead a little it won't be a big deal.

  • I love San Francisco! Have you been before? You should check out The Stinking Rose. It's an awesome and  yummy restaurant.

    I resemble that comment. ;)

My family is from there so I go visit every few years. Have fun!

  • Enjoy! Such a wonderful city! FI and I are headed there in may, also related to my work.
