Affordable Catering?

Hi All! Thanks for dealing with and reading my posts! I'm planning my wedding in Maine while stationed in Maryland... meeting with vendors is IMPOSSIBLE so 99% of the communication is e-mail.. UGH!
Anyways, can anybody suggest affordable catering options in maine.

We're HOPING to spend 3,000 total.

We want a buffet style, passed&station apps, NO bartender, NO dessert.

Any suggestions?

    Can you be more specific about a location?  You're not going to want to hire a caterer in Portland if you're getting married up in Bangor, or vice versa!  Most have travel fees that can add up when you're looking at 100+ miles one way!
