Yes, my dress will be ready on time (in 1 week actually, the wedding is March 8). This place came HIGHLY recommended. I am adding sleeves off the shoulders to cover my hideous arms and it's going to be dainty but do the job. She was so confident but I never saw a tape measurer or a notepad... are they that good that they can eyeball it and get 'er done?!

    My dress came in this week also. I'm not adding sleeves however the dress is at least 1 size too big and about 2 feet too long. Ughhhhh I'm so anxious on how they will fix all of it. Should have took my own measurements!

    Yes.  Some seamstresses will know exactly how long, narrow, etc with out having to measure.  My mom is doing my dress alterations and she looked at me long and hard while I was in the dress. She said a number out loud and said she just wanted to double check with the tape measure and she was right. :o)  Good luck!
