Wildfires out there.....

Everyone please keep all those affected by the wildfires in your thoughts and prayers. 

I'm thinking about trying to start up some sort of donation drive to help those that need it at work tomorrow.  I live/work in South Austin, but my FI works at UT and several of his co-workers have been evacuated in Leander.  I also am pretty sure some of the people at work live in Steiner Ranch.  The pictures are just unreal  :(  Seeing all these homes destroyed is so heartbreaking :( 

Please send knottie vibes, prayers and thoughts out to those in need.  And if you can donate or organize something where you live/work, please do so... I know they will definitely need it.

    We haden't seen the fires till on the way home from FI's Dads this morning and we were just like, wow...we wanted to do something but weren't quite sure what/ We have thought about calling the volunteer line and offering our 2nd bedroom and couch up for anyone who needs it.

    We had to get home to Houston via 290 since Bastrop was having a wildfire. As we left Austin we could see smoke clouds billowing from three different directions. We even drove through smoky haze for a good portion of 290. All weekend we were dodging fires dangerously close to our family and friends homes.

    I pray that everyone will be ok after all of this devastation. I also pray that this is the worst of it and Texas can avoid more out of control fires.
