To veil or not to veil..?

It seems it's typical for me to never take the easy route. And I chose this very stylized, short tutu dress before I bothered to think about what sort of veil I could wear with it. I'm not a huge fan of the birdcage veil but i'm not opposed to it. A long veil will probably look awkward but maybe not.

Ideas? Here's the dress. The style will be identical but the colour and corset trim will be a bit different.

I think a veil that goes as far down as your waist might be fine. Maybe take the dress to a bridal salon and try on different veils. That dress is pretty awesome, btw.

I agree with the fascinator. I think that this dress in just a little to nontraditional for a regular veil.

I do have to admit that I am usually a veil hater, but I just can't see it with this dress. I love this look though. Have fun!

I love the fascinator idea and you could do something really fun and unique with that! I can't really picture a veil with this dress (which is amazing!!) My biggest concern (which probably wouldn't bother most people) is that I would want the veil to match the material at the bottom of the dress and I don't know how hard it would be to make that happen.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think that a long, single layer plain tulle veil would look awesome with this dress. I think it would just flow down along the bottom into the dress. Would you be able to try on veils when you go to pick up your dress so you can see what they look like with it?

Well since clearly you are very fashion forward and willing to take chances why not one of those very poofy veils. Short but VERY poofy. Certainly done in the color to match your dress. They might be called bubble veils. Love your dress by the way.

If it were me, I'd wear a fingertip length veil, or a very short, shoulder-length veil.

I agree that this dress doesn't need it to be fabulous, and a poofy headpiece might do the trick instead.
