Photo share sites for guests (uppereast and user - I'd love your feedback)

What site do you think is best and easiest for photo sharing for guests?

I know we may not get a lot of guests who use the feature, but on the off-chance that we do, I'd like a site that's user-friendly and that maintains the resolution of the original photos.

I tested a few out way back when and decided I didn't like Picaboo or Shutterfly, but I did like Winkflash (www.winkflash.com).

Now there's a new site called Wedding Turtle (www.weddingturtle.com) that a lot of people are talking about, but I can't find any reviews of it and I can't find any information about the quality of the photos after downloading ones that guests have uploaded.  I tried contacting the company several days ago and still haven't received a response.

Any thoughts about the sites I mentioned or any others?

ive used kodak gallery for a while and i am always very happy. they always have sales on ordering, the pictures come out great, they maintain the original resolution, and if they are not going to come out ok (bc of the resolution, say you copy it off of facebook or something) they let you know before ordering the picture.

We used Photobucket, and we had two or three guests upload their photos for us (I'm looking at it now and we got about 100 photos and two short videos).

One friend sent me over 100 photos directly by e-mail (she uploaded them to her Kodak site and sent me the link), and a couple others uploaded theirs to Facebook and tagged us. And several of my mom's friends took some photos, printed them out and gave them to her, and my mom put them in a little album to show me.

I like all the photos, but the only one I actually printed was one from the friend who sent 100+, because she has a fancy camera and it's a cute picture for my nightstand. The others were point-and-shoot photos.

Looking back, I'm glad we didn't spend money on a website because so few people actually used it. I think people will send you their photos, but they'll do it however they want rather than using what you give them, KWIM?

I used irave and it worked out well.  More than a few people used it and the photoshare cards only cost something like $25.

We used Shutterfly and I found that to be actually be the easiest of the ones I tried out.   We had about 10-12 people upload a lot of photos and all of them said it was really easy.

The nice part about Shutterfly is that you can make photobooks on there and I ended up using lots of the photos people uploaded to make photobooks for our famillies and it was super easy.

I use Smugmug for my own photos, but I'm not sure how it would work as a photoshare site, sorry!

I'm using http://theweddinglens.com.  It's a pay site but WELL worth the price as guests don't have to have to go through the registration process.  Also, upload is quite easy -- although I don't like that you can only upload 30 pictures at a time.  I hope they fix that soon.

Also, the pictures are saved in their original resolution so the quality is maintained.

    Good luck.

Sorry I am out of the loop on this one, I have not dabbled in those types of consumer sites in a while.

If you make a share site up, your guests should not have to register.  You make up an account for your wedding and give people the login information.   We used shutterfly and I made up a seperate account from my personal one and made little business cards up with the login and password for my account.  Nobody had to register and it was free.
