Has anyone tried the Bridalicious Boot Camp DVDs?

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Bridalicious Boot Camp DVDs. I was looking for more information on the workouts, how long they are, how many days of the week you are supposed to do them, etc. I went to the website and it doesn't have a lot of information that I'm looking for. If you have tried them, do you like them? Did they work?

Thanks.

Re: Has anyone tried the Bridalicious Boot Camp DVDs?

• I'm starting the whole program on Monday, so if you yell and remind me towards the end of next week I'll be able to post a whole review for you.

Here is the manual for the dvd program including schedule and such:
• I have them, but I haven't started the full program yet. I liked the one workout that I tried, but it was a little on the long side for me - it took me around 45ish minutes from set-up to end of workout. I work out in the mornings before work, so I prefer to keep my workouts to 30 min. or less.

I actually won a free copy in the 'name your favorite snack' contest a few weeks ago. Of course, I got married like 3 days later. I still want to start it. Hopefully it will make a differenec!
• Yes and it's tough. If you're in semi-decent shape, you'll be ok. I wasn't, so the DVDs killed me. I didn't stick with it, but I think if I had, I would have lost a lot of weight. I'm actually considering breaking out the DVDs and try again -- even though we were married 6 months ago! Good luck!

Hi StephBeanWed61502! Great to see you tried one of the workouts. If you want a shorter one, try Discs 5, 6,7, or 8. They are around 15-20 or so and can be repeated if you want to go for about 30 min

Let me know if I can help you in any way.

I finally got my DVDs yesterday and tried the first workout. I really liked it. Doug is really motivating and I think it's cool that there are three girls at three different levels that guide you. They say to use it 3 days a week with a day in between to recover. And I can tell you first hand that you WILL feel it the next day. I'd definitely give it a try!
• I just finished my first week of the Bootcamp DVD-- and wow is it hard! They reccomend taking a before photo- which I also did. I'm thrilled that I completed week 1-- I'm notorious for starting something and not finishing it. I'm starting week 2 today. I really hope it works--- I'd love to lose some weight before my wedding, and have been struggling for a while now.

***Fingers crossed****

I had the first set of DVDs and I loved them so much I ordered the second set! I've lost 10lbs in the first 3 weeks doing the DVDs and changing my eating habits so far and I'm now in the final 90 days before my wedding! I feel the best I've ever felt :) Highly recommend....I will continue to use even AFTER my wedding! Can't wait to see the FINAL result for the wedding and compare before and after pics :). Doug rocks!!!!! Not quitting til the FINAL FITTING!!!!!!! :) D
• I just ordered the DVDs and am excited to get started. The problem is that I travel for work every week and the hotels do not always have gyms. Does anyone know if the workouts require equipment like free weights or if they can be done in a hotel room?

Have any plus size brides used this? I weigh about 250 pounds and i'd really like to lose at least 70 of that. But if I only lose 10-15 pounds with these DVDS.. Maybe I should look for something different?
• I just ordered these. I have tried p90 before but after 60 days I gave up because I wasn't seeing the dramatic results I wanted and they are an hour a day! I don't have that much extra time!!

I am hoping with these only being 3 days a week and around 30 minutes, I will be more likely to stick with it.

I am 21 lbs down from my heaviest from just eating well (I do spark people & lovvveee it!!), but I am ready to add a fitness routine again and this has really good reviews on amazon.

@CloudyBlue72. I am 195 lbs (sz. 14) so I am plus size. I want to lose around 30 - 40 more lbs by my day (may 25th). I will keep you updated on my progress if you want. I would just reccomend that you just go for it and buy it. If you watch what you eat and do this as well, you will drop more than 15 lbs easy! If you order it today you can get 20% off! That's what made me decide to do it. Let me know if you do, and want a encouragement buddy! :)

• @Angiemae Thank you! I'd appreciate your updates :) Unfortunately I can't order it just yet, I have to use all my extra money to pay something off until January, but by then I should be able to
• Still waiting on it, but I will update once I get it and start :)

• Angiema3344 and CloudyBlue72, I got my set in the about a week ago in the mail and started the DVDs on Friday. I am in love with it! It was the best decision! When my fiance and I started at a local gym, I had a trainer for about 2 months and twice a week, but we had to let the gym go to help save money since I would not be working for five months. During the time at the gym, things that my trainer did with me are similar in some ways to the different workouts that are included in the workouts on the DVDs. I wish I would have gotten the DVDs way before spending alot of money on a personal trainer.

I lost a good amount of weight before when I did weightwatchers, so I am going back to Weightwatchers and going to use my bridalicious boot camp DVDs. One of the greatest things about these workouts is that Doug that reminds you not to work about being in sync with the 3 different ladies but going at your pace and making sure you are doing the exercise move correctly. Like I said earlier that I started the workout with disc 1 on Friday evening and Saturday I was really feeling it and I was out all day doing things for the wedding. I say that it is a great investment and I can already feel a different. If I remember, I will make sure to post this coming Saturday how much I am down.

Hope this informatio helps. Angiema3344, just a little heads up that it took about a week and a half before I got my DVDs after I order it.
• Now that more time has passed since these posts; are any of you women still doing them? Still seeing results? Would you still recommend them?

I've got about 7 months until my wedding, so looking to do something to shape up a little bit and tone up some before the big day.
• I am in my fifth week of the Bridalicious workouts and OMG I cannot believe the definition and toning that is happening to my mid and upper back! I was already going to the gym prior to starting the DVDs but when I had my first dress fitting my problem areas were still a problem. I am confident that at my next fitting and wedding day I am going to look great!

The workouts are quick. There is a warm up followed by a 25-30 minute intense cardio and plyometric workout and then cooldown. Doug maximizes the time you spend working out. Glad I bought the DVDs, well worth the investment. Good luck!
• I am about to purchase this DVD boot camp but before I do, what supplies do I need? Like how many lb weights, yoga mats, etc?

Thanks!
• Hello!

I am desperate to buy the DVD's, however they will not ship to Canada. If anyone out there is done with them or looking to clear some shelf space, I would be thrilled to purchase them from you.

Thanks!
• The most you need is dumb bells. And you can manage without those, you just get better results with them. I just started using the dumb bells because I was easing myself in to the program.
