how far ahead send out invites and RSVP responses?

my wedding is July 12th how soon should I send out invites and then send out RSVP are they sent out separable or all together?

    The RSVP gets sent in the invitation envelope.

    Invites get sent out 6-8 weeks out.  For OOT weddings you can push it to 9-10, but no more than that.   For a July 12th wedding I would send out the invites between May 17-31.

    RSVP date:  Find out when the venue needs the counts, then back it up a week.









    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
