Yosemite Wedding

Hi everyone!

Has anyone had a wedding or been to a wedding in Yosemite?  We are thinking of having our ceremony and reception at the Ahwahnee Hotel.  Any advice would be helpful and appreciated! Thank you! :)

    Try posting this on the local board.  Go to the right side under Choose Another Board and select Local Wedding Boards in the drop down, then Go.  A list of all the local boards will come up and you can choose the appropriate board.  Good luck!

    I did not see a wedding when we were there, but when we went to Yosemite earlier this fall we went to the hotel one day for happy hour and it was a very pretty hotel and we even mentioned how beautiful weddings must be there.  I think the rooms are pricey but cool thing is your guests would also have the option to rent one of their cabins instead (they have the "glamping" cabins that have beds and showers in them) or heck bring a tent if they'd prefer :)

    The last time I was at Yosemite, we saw a couple getting married privately in the snow.  It was gorgeous.  They were alone with an officiant, so this is probably not helpful, but I wanted to share that it looked amazing.
