So not wedding related, but I wanted to say what a cute lil yorkie in your siggie.  We have one too named Max.  He's  a teacup and he's almost 2.  What about yours?

  • Thank you ma'am! He's also 2, and his name is Riley. I just told someone in another post that he slid across my kitchen floor humping a toy today so I'm not very pleased with him. Lol.

  • Ha ha.  Ours is so mischievous too.  He STAYS in trouble and FI is always on him about something but I tell him if anything ever happened to that dog, he'd be sick (and he agrees).  Its interesting because when we first got ours he had dark fur just like yours in that pic and the second we took him to the groomer for the first time, he's now so much lighter.

My grandpa was a HUGE yorkie lover and he always had them and he bought us ours right before he passed away so Max is really sentimental to us.

  • Aw, it's really sweet that he has that sentimental value. Mine was a gift from a cheating ex who I left a month later (we got him when he was 6 weeks). I love him the same though. Riley was much darker in the beginning. I didn't realize how different his fur is until I was going through his puppy photos.

FI doesn't understand why the dog has to live in the house. He lives in Barbados and everyone there has an outside dog. He has a huge bull mastiff, also named Max. And I told him that one can stay outside, but this 6 lb child of mine will be right in the house.

That's a coincidence, we got Max at 6 weeks too.  Yeah that grandpa of mine.  We had just bought a house at the time and we had been saying in maybe a year r so, we were thinking of getting a dog and here he comes about 3 months after we bought the house with a dog as a surprise housewarming gift so we just couldn't say no.

That's funny about your FI thinking the dog needs to be outside lol.  For sure, a yorkie is definitely an inside dog.  They are so darn cute and lovable we cant help but spoil them. Laughing

I'm jealous you are able to even get that good of a pic of Riley.  We have a few of Max but he is always on the go and is constantly running around that usually by the time you pull out a camera and try to get a pic of him, he moves and it ends up coming out all blurry.

  • I got a good picture because I had just given him a treat and he wanted another. No other reason! So maybe try that. But yes, he is very spoiled and I can't help it. Actually, I'm off to cook dinner for him because he's being high saddity about his Kibble and Bits lately, so he'll have plain baked chicken and white rice.
