How did I turn chicken into rubber? :( 

FI has spoiled me with food that won't give me salmonella.. Only 3 more days til he's back and I can have real meals again.

    If there was a spot that would deliver sushi, wine, and french fries to me I don't think I'd ever cook again. I could eat that every night.

    The freezer section is my friend! Tyson any-tizers, Frozen egg rolls, dumplings. I eather boil water or I put them in the microwave. Presto an easy, fast meal that is filling.

    FI is in the same boat as you. I had to get him a BBQ before I went out of town last summer just to ensure he'd eat at least once.

    When DH is out of town I tend to eat salads, grilled cheese, spaghetti with red sauce and hard boiled eggs.    






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    This is me exactly! I never cook for myself, but love cooking for FI. Also, i hate dishes, he does those when I cook for him. win-win.

    This is me as well.  I'm always more motivated to cook to make sure H is fed and has leftovers for lunch than to cook for myself.  That's why I have half a shelf in my pantry of boxed mac n' cheese, which is about as much effort as I can make myself go through for just me.

    I am notoriously bad at feeding myself when I'm alone. I've taken to making a pot of rice and eating it either plain or with ginger-scallion sauce in it when FI isn't home for dinner. Luckily, I live down the street from my mom, so I now pop over there and raid her fridge when I can't be assed to feed myself. heh

    I hate cooking just for me. I usually end up reheating leftovers when FI is gone. He refuses to eat leftovers anyway unless they have been incorporated into a new dish. Spoiled man!
