So last night I was out with some friends and chipped my two front teeth on a glass! My wedding is in 7 days, so of course I burst into tears in the middle of the bar! Luckily, my friends dad is a dentist so he called him today and he's fitting me in on Monday to fix them, but this is so not the added stress I needed. Anyone else have any unexpected problems the week before their wedding?

I remember my oldest DD at her final fitting for her dress, 11 days prior to her wedding. IT.DID.NOT.FIT. At all. Oh, the look on her face. We did get it fixed though.

Just keep in mind that a little time on Monday fixes this whole thing so do not allow it to stress you anymore!

Thank you! I'm feeling much better now that I have an appointment to get them fixed. I had my final dress fitting today and my dress fits perfect, so at least I don't have to stress abut that! Unfortunately, I don't have dental insurance so I'm really hoping it doesn't cost too much.

Oh no! Thankfully it doesn't sound as if you are in pain. What a great "connection" you have through your dad!

My daughter broke her foot 8 weeks before her wedding. She required surgery. It was really hard for her to get around on crutches to many of her final appointments. We had to hold her up at her final fitting. Her hope was to be off crutches on her wedding day. She did one better than that and was able to go a short time without her boot during the ceremony. She couldn't rock the heels she planned on wearing, but that was clearly the least of her priorities. It's quite the memory, now.

It's clear that simply overnight your perspective has changed. Your wedding day will be awesome, and you will have the smile to prove it!
