Ideas on how to cover a partition for the reception?

Hi everyone!
My reception is going to be in the ballroom at Auletto Caterers in Deptford, NJ, however, there is a partition that comes out to separate the ballroom and a smaller room. Any ideas on how to cover this thing? (Think like in elementary school when the teachers would open two rooms to combine classes.)

Unless it's really really ugly or has an odd colour that interferes with your colour scheme, don't! people are not going to notice it. If you cover it, you only draw attention to it and people are going to think: "What's behind that cover?"

Tall plants or screens always work, but more often than not they actually draw more attention to the eye-sore then covering them up.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

I can relate. We have an enormous ugly green curtain (pictured on the right) that spans the entire front wall of our reception space!

Do we wish we could cover it? Yup. Is it going to ruin our wedding? Nope. We're just letting it bask in its hideous vomit-colored glory, because covering it would be way more hassle and work than it's worth.

    Leave your partition alone!

If you can afford it, why not add some drapery

Drapery is a nice idea. If not that, maybe a couple trellises with flowers vining down them?
