@plentyofus: do you mean a sari?  A sari is a very specific, traditional type of Indian garment.  I have never seen one used as a veil and I think it would be way too much fabric; a sari is six yards long and usually very heavy and embellished.  You can probably find a veil with embroidery that will give you a similar look without actually trying to use the entire garment.

  • @JCBride2014 Yea, a Sari (srry tyo) I have seen some online that is not as thick as the regular ones and I found a picture on pinterest as a veil. I might have to have someone make me.
  • I found mine on etsy for $30 bucks...

  • 'tanyah I'm gonna cosign JCBride.  Even if modified, a sari cannot be worn on your head, it is its own full body length and width garment.  Actually it's much longer than a western dress, as it's meant to go around, shoulder to floor, at least twice.  They're also not typically sheer.  Sorry for the ramble, I just don't want you to google or look for that specific word when it's not really possible to wear as a veil.   Try words like (cathedral, mantilla or tiered blusher) for more "traditional" coverage. ;)
