I was just wondering... what do brides do when they have to pee?  Someone told me they had their MOH help them with their dress.  I was just wondering if there was a smarter way to fasten the dress aside without making anyone my bathroom bitch? I'm not sure if anyone has ever found a solo solution to this. I am a clumsy person.  I can see this ending poorly. Lol

    OMG THAT IS GENIUS!!!  THANK GOD!  My sis is having a c-section a month before the wedding, and I know she won't be feeling up to it, even though she offered (Kind of didn't want assistance in the bathroom until I turn 70, anyway). And I just think it is such a menial chore to ask of anyone, and they are your bridesmaids, not your bitches. Lol.  Thanks bunches!

    I've also heard of brides sitting on the toilet facing the wall instead so that they only had to pick up the front of the dress instead of trying to wrestle the bulk of the ballgown in the back.

    I would have chosen a smaller dress, but I have to cover the continent that is my ass, so I went with a flared skirt.

    It really depends on the style/fit of the dress.  I was able to gather mine up and use the bathroom by myself.  My dress was an a-line.  I don't know how people pee in a trumpet/mermaid/fit-n-flare without taking the dress off though.

    This is awesome!  I will be sharing with my sister (and maybe getting myself out of bathroom duty?).  She was a saint for me though and helped me maneuver my dress all day.  Love her.

    Wow! That woman is brilliant! I have a poofy dress and I CANNOT go to the bathroom when other people are there. It's awkward for me. Plus when I drink, man do I always have to pee so this is perfect :D Not taking anyone from the festivities and I can do my business on my own. You're awesome @thejucheidea!

    I had an 1880s bustle-gown and my period and I managed to pee all by myself. 

    Probably it helped that I had 1880s split-crotch bloomers on, too, but hey.

    I just took off my dress and had someone hold it for me, while I marched to the toilet in my underwear.  It worked for me.

    I had a hoop instead of a crinoline.  I grabbed the sides of the hoop and lifted the whole thing up.

    I had to have help once and then realized if I took the crinoline off, I could do it myself.
