Need advice..

I have a VERY form fitting dress. I love it! The problem I'm having is that I have been on a weight loss journey and I have lost 142 pounds. I have so much extra skin around my mid section...ugh...I do not have the resources to have surgery to remove it. When I put on my dress and the cinch it up you can see said ball of skin. I need something to hold it in. I got those Spanxs but goes up to just below my chest...which shows in the back of my gown. Is there something else out there that would work? Need some suggestions. I'm desperate! I was even thinking of just wrapping it tightly in like as ace bandage style contraption ..but that would be soooooo hot and uncomfortable....any thoughts ladies?

Thanks! I have the long line bra and it fits great, but unfortunately the extra skin is down further that the long lie goes. I'm going to check out your website and see what I can find

Do you have health insurance? It sometimes covers removal of extra skin if there is a problem with skin infection in the folds of skin. My insurance covered a breast reduction on my left side when I had to have a mastectomy on the right side because of breast cancer. I am delighted with the results. I actually look better than before. Talk to a plastic surgeon for an opinion.

I've heard of seamstresses being able to alter undergarments. Maybe a seamstress could take just enough off the Spanx to be low enough?

Get the waist high spanx instead of the ones that go all the way up to your bust. That and the longline bra should work. You could also look into getting a waist cincher or old school girdle. Waist cincher's aren't very comfortable though... just a head's up.

perhaps you could try unpadded cycling shorts? Not sure if it would work or not.

Thank you for all the help ladies! I will check with my insurance, that would be so nice if I was lucky enough to have it covered. In the mean time I think I will try the brief and see if that works

Congrats on your weight loss! That is very inspirational! I hope you qualify for the skin reduction.

I agree with PP, mix and match undergarments until you get your desired mid-section support.
