I went to a local bridal boutique and fell in love with this dress. I was close to purchasing it but being that this is a huge investment, I wanted to check out the rest of the line from the designer. I wanted to find out the designer because I saw a Casablanca dress the first time I tried on dresses. I was adamant it was "the one". And when I searched their website, I found another style that was similar but had more of the details I was originally looking for. I went back to that boutique and they had it in stock for me to try. I tried it on and loved it! But because I wanted a different top and Casablanca allows you to customize, I just couldn't see the changes and I chickened on.
When I visited this store, I had only tried on about 10 dresses. I'm still new to the process and have never spent so much on an item, other than my car. I loved this dress and asked the consultant for the designer and they wouldn't give it to us. I asked if she could point out other dresses from this designer and she said our time was up (we were there for 40 minutes although I thought our appointment was for 1 hour). They unstitched all the tags so you couldn't see who made what. It just made me feel uneasy because, how do I know I'm paying for a designer and their dress or a knock off?
Now I'm stuck not wanting to go back to that store but loving this dress that I can't find.
