Vegas while pregnant

H and I have been to Vegas several times since it's only a 5 hour drive, but we are thinking about heading back sometime late March/early April (I'll be about 27-30 wks pregnant) so I'm trying to think of fun activities that I'll be able to do.  We will likely stay at the Venetian and go see at least one show (I'm thinking Jersey Boys this time), but since I can't drink, which I don't normally overdo anyways so it's not that big of a loss, and it will probably be still a bit too early for the pool, I'm trying to think of other fun things to do that we haven't done before.

So ladies, what are some of your recommendations for activities that don't involve drinking or a lot of physical activity.  We're trying to keep a relatively modest budget and aren't interested in any of the Grand Canyon tours.

  • Le Reve was my favorite show. Have you gone to Fremont Street? Honestly, I'd still lounge at the pool if it's 70 or warmer I can handle it.

Definitely get a bus pass so you aren't walking as much.
  • Go shopping! Even if its just window shopping.

I was just about to suggest this.

And hit up all the amazing restaurants and buffets!

  • I'm going in May and I've been sober for 6 years. It's still a blast. I think you should maybe splurge for a hotel suite with a hot tub in it (Monte Carlo has them very reasonably priced). Or take that money to get a spa service. Even though I don't drink I still like to go to a bar at night and watch all the drunks, I like Carnival Court at Harrah's because it's an outdoor bar with live bands so it's more chill than the nightclubs, I don't like those.

  • You'd be surprised by the weather that time of year. I was there the last week in March and spent two days by the pool.

We're getting married in Vegas April 13 and we are counting on some pool time. I say get a cabana at the Wynn and enjoy!
