Day-of bridal party photo locations ??? queens / nassau

I am getting married at St. Stan's in Maspeth, Queens.  My ceremony will be over around 4pm.  I have a 6pm cocktail hour at Leonard's of great neck.  I am aware of and okay with missing part of the cocktail hour to take pictures.  I would like to find a location that is in route from Maspeth to Great Neck, or not too far out of the way.  Any suggestions??

    With a little detour you could go to Whitestone and take pics by the bridge or Crocheron park in Bayside.  Not sure what kind of back drops you are looking for, but you can also take pics by one of the LIRR stations which could make for cool shots.
