Richfield Regency Venue

Has any one attended as a guest at Richfield or had their wedding here recently? The reviews are old. I am eager to book but looking for suggestions. (Our date is Summer of 2014.) Any feed back would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Richfield Regency Venue

  • I looked at the Richfield when planning my wedding for this past September.  The price was amazing but they were renovating the main room when we went so we had no idea what it would look like when it was done.  There were also too many stairs and that was a big turnoff.  Our guests would've had to go downstairs for a cocktail hour and then back 2 flights for the reception.  We had elderly people so it wouldn't work for us.  We ended up booking with their partner site the Wilshire Grand which is practically around the corner from them.

  • I will be getting married there on 10/4/13. The package you get for the price is unbeatable. We are pretty deep into the planning process and Trish has been there every step of the way so far making this a much easier and stress free experience. She responds quickly to e-mails and offer's great suggestions and recommendations on vendors. I also attened a bridal show at the Richfield a few weeks back to sample the cocktail hour and everything that I tasted was great. (I don't eat seafood so can't help with that!) I also wasn't thrilled with all of the stairs but we have a mostly young crowd so it wasn't a deal breaker. I have one elderly uncle who is not good with stairs. Trish offered to set up a table upstairs in the main ballroom for him which I thought was a great gesture. We've decided to reserve the table closest the stairs for him and have him escorted upstairs a few minutes before the main ballroom opens up to everyone else so he can take his time. So far I am very happy with every aspect of the Richfield Regency. Now just can't wait for the big day! Hope this helps!!
  • Hello AmandaG313! If you dont mind I would llike to know how much is the price range you got in your wedding date. Thanks!
  • Bluebride! We locked it in for $90 pp. We are having 130 people but we did go with a Friday night. We also got a free Viennese Table for booking within a week of our first visit.

  • Did you like the wedding there? Where was the ceremony? In the chapel or upstairs? Did you do a Katubbah signing? If yes, where? Where did the bridal party hang out during pictures? Did the runner wrinkle during the ceremony? Were the chair covers wrinkled? Where did you put the guest book?
