Question about location of RSVP date

Hi ladies,

We are doing online RSVPs through our wedding website and I had a question about where the RSVP deadline should go. At the bottom of our invites that we are mailing to our guests I am going to including our website address as such:

RSVP @ www.b&a.com

Do I need to add "by June 20" on the invite or let them make their way to the website and put the date there on the RSVP page?

Not sure which to do... Thanks ladies!!

Re: Question about location of RSVP date

  • I am not a fan of electronic RSVPs just because your website could crash or something in the system could go wonky.

Anywho, I would provide a separate RSVP card that states something like:
The favor of your eRSVP is requested by June 20, 2014
    www.b&a.com

  • yes, you should still put a respond by date so people know by when you need a response. I'm assuming you need a head count for food and you want that at least two weeks before the wedding date (or sooner depending on your vendor). I put my response due by date one month before the wedding, that gave me time to do follow up calls to people who didn't response in a time frame that wasn't stressful for me.
