Aisle runner for outdoor wedding good or bad?

My wedding is outdoors this April, and I'm trying to decide of an aisle runner is a good idea or not. Will my heel poke through it? And what if it's windy? Does anyone have any advice that has used an aisle runner outside? Please let me know!!! Thanks!! :)

    I have seen aisle runners outside and it didn't work out well. Every time they were used, it was windy and it wound up just blowing all over the place. I am not sure about your heel poking through...perhaps if it were on grass? They seem to be pretty durable. Otherwise, I would reccommend a no.

    My wedding is "hopefully outside" in April too and I thought about a runner, but really I think its a waste of Money. Your right with the heal and the flying away.
    I am not getting one- thats just my opinion.
