Barceló Maya Palace Deluxe anyone?

Hey!

So I've been looking for a resort in the riviera maya area to get married this year and I think we will go with the Barceló Maya Palace Deluxe. Has anyone had a wedding at this resort? If so, would you recommend it?

    That's one of my options on my list as well!

    I believe the Palace is adults only so I'm looking at the other Barcelo Maya resorts.

    There's lots of reviews on bestdestinationweddings.com - I've been using that site a lot to help narrow down my list and read reviews from other brides. 

    I would love to hear any input from others as well! 

    From what I understand Barcelo is pretty inflexible with things (ie some resorts will give you credits if you don't use things in your package, etc) but their packages are comparable with other resorts and their wedding options are really good. There are  7 options for ceremony and quite a few options for reception I believe.

    I think we are gonna switch to the Now Sapphire resort in Mexico. It's a little more expensive, but you get perks like free anniversary nights and a complimentary room upgrade. Plus, the rooms are a lot nicer and the beach looks less rocky. Might be interesting for you as well :)
