My wedding is in July. We booked the venue (country club for ceremony and reception, they do their own catering and provide a DOC) about a year ago. Loved the woman we were working with and people had great things to say about her in particular in the venue's reviews.
Got an email today that she's taken a new position out of state so will be leaving. Apparently the people taking over have been there for 2 years and it sounds like they've already handled a lot of wedding things, but I haven't met them.
I'm sure this isn't an infrequent occurrence (something strikes me as it not being the type of job most people stay in forever), but I'm kinda bummed and a little nervous. At least the new team will have a few months of being in charge before my wedding. Just wanted to vent a little. Has anyone else had this happen?
