Does this veil look ok with my dress?

Hi, everyone,

I am looking for your opinions on this veil/dress combination. My dress is ivory, so I decided to take a chance and order my veil online in ivory as well. However, they are from different companies, and looking at the pictures I'm wondering if the veil looks "dirty" to the dress. So...

1. Do you think the veil looks too yellow?

2. Do you think another style veil would look better (longer, shorter, more ornate)? I went with the plain one since I thought too much detail would clash with all of the lace on the dress, but now I'm having second thoughts (maybe it's too plain).

1. The veil does look like it is a different sort of colour than the dress.

2. Yes, I think either longer or shorter might look nicer with the dress. Maybe a veil with some bling along the edge would look nice and go with the belt.

I like veils with an edge. Otherwise I think they look very unfinished. I agree that something needs to complement the belt. I got my veil from this woman on Etsy and loved it...she has a lot to choose from: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/129011113?ref=fb2_tnx_title

I don't know about a different color, but it looks very plain next to your dress. I agree that something with more decoration or bling would look nicer!

I agree with prettybirdy27 completely. Mantilla style veils are way gorgeous. They look classic and beautiful and come in a huge variety of styles.

Agreed, I really like it as well and I don't notice any difference in color.
