Look, I know I live in Central PA and I know that snow is likely to happen and it's winter and whatever else.

But I am so freaking over this winter. I really am.

And it's snowing AGAIN right now -- I honest-to-God cannot remember the last time we weren't dealing with snow.

Yep, snow just started coming down here. We've run out of room to put it (the entire back row of our office building's parking lot is filled with snow, so we lose over a dozen spaces), but I'm not as worried about that as I am about the reports that we're getting 0.25"+ of ice tonight on top of the snow. We had the same thing Tuesday/Wednesday, and it was a nightmare trying to get around.

This winter has been crazy.

I admit I felt a little guilty spending $170 on a pair of Hunter boots back at Thanksgiving. Well I've worn them all but maybe 5 days since then. Seriously I can't even remember when the last time I haven't needed to wear them. Crazy.

It's still not snowing here but I know we're supposed to get snow. Im soooo over this snow and winter in general. I have no desire to do anything in this crap

I'm sorry Friday, that's no good. Having moved to Atlanta from up north years ago, I really thought I missed the snow, but this last go round was pretty awful.

ETA accuweather says we're supposed to get "icy mix" on Wednesday morning. Ugh.

At least today it's only like, an inch of snow, and not that super freak merging storm that everyone was talking about earlier this week.

True, but I'm not sure we're out of the woods yet. There's another storm coming Thursday-ish. Fabulous.

I want Old Man Winter to apologise to Mother Nature for whatever it is he did that pissed her off and has caught us in the middle of their domestic dispute. And I want Mother Nature to chase two Valiums with a bottle of wine so she can get over her PMS.

oh, I love my Hunters!! I thought they were stupid expensive but I wear them all the time.

Also in NJ right near NYC-- we had some snow earlier, looks like about an inch. It's going to be pretty treacherous tomorrow because there's a lot of ice under there that's now covered up by new snow.

Looks like the snow has stopped - we got about an inch. Everyone in my town complains about how high our taxes are... but all our streets are cleared and salted, and they'll salt again if necessary. I didn't take work home with me this weekend, so I need to get in the office tomorrow or our whole production schedule is going to be even more effed up than it already is (we lose a day because of President's Day).

Just took my dog out, and it's snowing..... AGAIN.

I usually love winter and snow, but this season all the snowstorms keep interfering with everything.

Going through some health-related stuff and my doctor's appointments keep getting snowed out and then rescheduled... Frustrating when you are waiting for test results and they cannot just give me the information over the phone. FI had a big job interview that got pushed back because the interviewer was coming from the company HQ and couldn't get in... Work has been a joke, we missed a day and a half last week. And THIS week I am hoping that I won't have to reschedule the cake consultation we've been looking forward to.

Yes, these are first world problems. Whine over.

It snowed all day yesterday... Still snowing now... And is supposed to last through tomorrow. :-(

I would happily take the ice over this snow right now.

The snow doesn't bother me too much. It's really the ice that pisses me off. My work parking lot is an icy nightmare. I have no idea how I haven't busted my ass already. It basically takes me 10 minutes to safely get out of my car and walk to the front door of the building.

And my driveway at home is the same way. Huge patches of ice that we just can't get rid of. I fucking hate it.

Seriously. I'm the biggest sucker ever.

Grew up in MA, hated the snow and cold my entire life. I graduated college and said F this nonsense and moved to Arizona. The winters lounging by the pool were so unbeatable. Well I HATED everything else out there. I didn't make many good friends, hated the culture- all Spanish speakers and Mexican restaurants. I have nothing against Mexicans I just hate all their food and don't enjoy trying to pick out a deposit slip at the bank when they're written in not my language lol. I hated the land and scenery- I grew up with my backyard a lake and across the street woods to play in so dirt, sand, concrete, and more dirt was not my ideal scenery! And of course the most important part- I missed my family and friends.

So here I am, back in MA hating every frigen snow storn and looking at FB pics of my AZ friends tanning at the pool and saying to myself "was it really THAT bad?!?!?!"

I'm sick of the snow. DH had to call in sick this morning because they didn't plow or salt and the roads had tons of black ice. He didn't want to risk the 40 min drive.
