Any idea on how I can make these little cards?

Well it looks like for the back portion they used a pretty stiff paper and used a paper punch (which you can find at any local craft store) to cut out the shape.  Then for the front portion they just made a template in Microsoft Word or Publisher and filled in the names and table numbers.  Then once everything was cut out, used double sided tape to tape the toothpick in between the back piece and the front piece.

Overall these shouldn't be hard to make, just very tedious especially if you have a lot of guests.

It's a sign on a toothpick stuck into a chocolate.  What part of how to do that is eluding you?

Thanks for all of the help ladies! I'm not very crafty so I will definitely be looking into a paper punch :)

This response is completely unnecessary. She came on here asking people how to do it. Basically calling her stupid because she can't figure it out was rude and snarky.
And yet I still have no idea what part of the project she was confused about.

You know, @Lisandrat, if you had just replied to my question (instead of PMing me and telling me that I was "very nasty") and pointed out that you asked in your OP about how to make the cards in particular, I would have said 'My bad, I misread your original post and thought you asked "Any idea on how I can make these?" instead of "Any idea on how I can make these little cards?""  And then I would have probably asked if it was the sandwiching the toothpick part that you wanted advice on.

I'd think you could print out labels that shape, and then stick them to a pre-purchased shapes of paper from some craft/scrapbook store, with the toothpick between.

Or you could just use two pieces of paper and glue. or heck, use one piece of paper and glue or tape the toothpick to the back.

I am also confused about what the question is.

    A simple enough question, IMO.

If you have access to a punch or laser cutting machine, you could make the bracket cards yourself.  But it would be easier to simply buy the cards in the color of your choice like here:
    image
(note the label "eco-friendly felt toys) is the company info, not the product--these are just pre-cut shapes from cardstock).

You then use Avery-type labels (self-stick) in the size you want (it looks like shipping label size in the photo).  The avery labels usually have a template already included in your word processing program (if not, you download from the site provided in label packaging).  It looks like these were printed with a square border too.  Be sure to buy the labels according to the type of printer you have (ink vs. laser jet).  If ink jet, let them dry for a few minutes before messing with them as to not smear the ink.

Peel and stick the labels  to the bracket card.  The pick/skewer can be in-between the two, or punched through two small holes in the card to hold it. I think the latter would be easier.
