Slow day things

1. It's supposed to be 54 a week from Thursday.  WHAT WHAT?!  I might be able to take my kids outside and go for a walk.  Hell, I may even open the windows just to air this place out. 

2.  I bit it on the ice yesterday in my sitter's driveway and came down on my knee pretty hard.  It hurt, but it wasn't terrible.  It feels just fine today as long as I don't try to kneel or anything.  However, I milked it for all it was worth last night.  DH did all the dishes and finished dinner once I started it.  

3. DH and I are trying very hard to stick to an all cash budget (envelope system).  It's hard, but man do I see how we were overspending. 

4. DH and I went to the grocery store alone on Saturday for the first time in for-ev-er (SIL was at our house with the kids).  Man, did we savor that time.  We even went over to Best Buy to look at tablets and laptops because my computer may need to be replaced soon. 

5. I am looking online at sandals at least once a day.  This winter has sucked giant dong.

    I hope you feel better.

    My things are all shopping related.

    1. The kids need summer clothes.  I have zero desire to pick anything out. 

    2. I have an image of what I want for counterstools, but can't find them.  When I do I bet DH will veto them.

    3. I got the cabinet hardware yesterday and it's awesome.  It would have been close to $600 at Lowe's, but I found it on Amazon for $150.  That box was surprisingly heavy.

    mrs conn, sorry about your injury. Did you see the video of the gal who was out with some guy running in the snow, got interviewed about how great it was, low impact on her knees, and then wiped out on her ass when she started jogging off again? all on camera? It might help mentally...

    Today, we went to the penis museum. I got a selfie with a preserved sperm whale penis and took a picture of my husband talking on a dick phone.

    Also we saw a wee display of the Northern Lights, yaaaaay!

    Oh, and I sucked fucking HARD at driving stick on the rental car. My dad's antique car is a ton easier to drive imho.
