Best photographer for Strip Tour and best place for post wedding drinks for two?

Hi my fiance and I are getting married in April this year.  There will be just us at our wedding, no guests.  We've booked the Juno Garden at Caesars Palace at 4pm.  We plan to go somewhere nice for drinks after the ceremony and then we would like to do a 2 hour strip tour from 6.30-8.30.

Can anyone recommend -

1)  A good photographer?  We want our pictures to be different, modern in style but don't want anything too formal, we want to enjoy the tour and make the most of the great sights.

2) Somewhere romantic to go for post wedding cocktails, just the two of us.  Ideally somewhere quite private with great views?  If not private reasonably quiet - we will leave the partying for later!

Thanks in advance for your help :)

  • Hi are you sticking with Imagine studios photography for your Juno Garden ceremony? I had Sam and thought he was great I was really pleased.
  • We have Imagine for the ceremony but wasn't sure whether to stick with them for the tour or not?
  • I was really pleased with my photos. They were quite pricey but as I only wanted an additional hour of photography it was just easier to stick with them than adding another photographer. As I live in Scotland I guess I felt safer with what seemed to be a larger company and not just a sole trader. We picked up the CD of images a couple of days after the wedding so that was nice and easy too but overall I was really pleased with the outcome and would definitely book them again. Todd and Keith Kaplan are popular on the board. Maybe Mix lounge at Mandalay Bay for drinks.
  • Mandarin Bar at the Mandarin Oriental looks amazing great views and reviews on trip advisor. The Eiffel tower has a bar in their restaurant area , my FI proposed in the restaurant so I may love it .more than most hehe.

  • Some other photographers that I'm a fan of are Gin & Sake productions, Birds of a Feather and Mike L. I like their style and the way don't look like traditional wedding photographs and the colours they use are great.
  • Since you'll be at Caesars, for drinks I would suggest Fizz...doesn't really views, but its fancy, small and has some great drinks!
We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

  • Definitely the bar at the Mandarin Oriental. We didn't go there on the day of our wedding, but the day before we came home. When we told our waitress that the reason for our visit had been to get married, she came back with complimentary glasses of Champagne! Stunning views, understated and felt like it was just the 2 of us, even though it wasn't. Hope this helps!
  • Hi - we are doing very similar to you, just the two of us in June. We have booked the little church of the west, photo tour with Top Banana photography (going to met us at the church, then photots at LV sign, downtown, mandarin Oriental and Cosmo chandelier bar) we are then going to stay in Cosmo chandelier bar and then onto Prime in the Bellagio for evening meal. I might try and sneak in mandarin oriental if you ladies say its a good one!

I looked at lots of photographers and got in a bit of a state with all the options - I feel much better from booking and I really like her style, great emails comms and I have a pinterest board that I put all the shots I like so we are pretty in tune. I also considered Bentley and Wilson and Deacon Tyler.

We are there for 4 nights in the Wynn tower king room  - I am also planning to go to the neon museum, night on Fremont Street, red rock canyon drive ( FI is getting a porsche 911 for our time in Vegas!) maybe a show and some pool time if not too hot!

    hope this helps!
  • My favorite (Vegas local) spots for drinks + views: Mix at Mandalay Bay; Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay; Chateau at Paris

Second tier: Ghostbar at Palms, Voodoo Lounge at Rio; Top of the World at Stratosphere

Haven't been up the Mandarin Oriental yet.
