It has been suggested that I pull a Brian May and get the PhD after all, so... I'm going to try. New department, new project, new everything, but old dream, sort of.

I am thinking of doing microbial evolution this time, rather than the human genetics I was doing before.

Yay! I feel like most people going for PhDs are a bit older. if anything I think it's pretty silly to get it straight off the bat.

I just went back to school too but it's for another bachelor's so less exciting. I will probably get a master's at around 35 though.
