Hey Brides (past, present and future!)

I got engaged recently and have been looking for wedding venues. I am in love with Congress Hall and really want to have my wedding there but I'm concerned about where my guests will stay. We're planning on getting married next summer in July or August. When we looked around at hotels in the area it seems like it will be really pricey for our guests! We have a lot family coming from NY and northern NJ. Most people will have to stay the night. I wanted to know what other people have done to accommodate guests! Right now that is the only thing that is stopping us from booking right now!

    I think that your guests will be able to find accomodations that fit their budgets.  There are TONS of options in Cape May or even the Wildwoods, which would be about a 20 minute drive or so.  Would Congress Hall do a hotel block?  The only potential issue is that since its summer, some accomodations may require a 2 night stay.  But it wouldn't be all of them.

    I would send out STDs to all of my guests and let them know your venue.  Seeing that the wedding is in a shore town will probably get them to book hotels early.
