Looking for help with centerpiece ideas

My better half and I are having a lighthouse/fall theme, but we don't want it to be a beach theme. Ideally we are naming the table after lighthouses we have visited here in Maine with the one exception of the head table which will be name after the lighthouse we got engaged at which was in New Brunswick, Canada. Would love to be able to find lighthouse we could paint to match the lighthouse. I have looked at places like Oriental Trading Post which at one time carried a ton of styles but now seem bare.

  • I would check out michaels or another craft store. You might not find a bare wood one but you might find some that you can re-paint.
  • What about instead of painting lighthouses you find a picture of the lighthouse online and have it nicely printed and put into a frame with the name so that your guests can find their table.  Then for the main centerpiece use lanterns to represent the light that the lighthouse gives off?

  • I googled lighthouse figurines and this website popped up

    http://lighthouses-unlimited.com/

There were also amazon and ebay

  • Maggie's idea is a great fallback I think, if you can't find the figurines...this is such a cute idea!! My FI and I have a lot of lighthouse memories so I am a little biased ;)
  • I haven't thought of that idea, I really like it. I'm going to play around with it for a bit.
And lighthouse have always made for amazing adventures and dated, especially when you try and follow a gps that tries and make you car drive over the ocean to find some!
