Has anyone been to Secrets Maroma?

I have been looking at every resort in the area for about 6 months and we have finally decided on Secrets Maroma. I would love to hear anyones experience, good and bad, at this resort. Any tips for us would be appreciated as well! I am putting my deposit down on Friday and am SO nervous, I want to be confident that this is the right choice for us!

    my sister honeymooned there. SHE loved it!  Said the beach was amazing and that some of the beaches down there are not so great.

    YES & it was AMAZING!!! I considered other Secrets for our HM but we decided on Iberostar Grand Bavaro in DR instead.

    But, I would 100% reccommend Secrets Maroma. Place doens't have a single flaw. Best all inclusive, EVER!

    Have you read reviews on tripadvisor? I am obsessed w/ that site, altho some people are always going to be super anal/picky so you can't always listen to everything you read. But you can get a good feel for resorts/hotels there.

    Based on my friend Linda's recommendation, we just booked our honeymoon there last night.  My friend has been there each year for 3 years in a row, and to other resorts in the area prior to that.  She loves Secrets Marmora, so after looking at the reviews and not finding a single bad one we booked.  Good luck!

    We honeymooned at Secrets Maroma in May 2009.  We absolutely LOVED it!  Food, service, beach - everything was top notch.  There is a review in my married bio.  Let me know if you have questions.  We'd definitely go back!
